![]() Monsters in MHW cover vastly different combat styles, if you aren't familiar with all of them you might struggle a lot. You don't need much coordination like competitive PvP games, in MHW multiplayer, people tends to treat multiplayer like solo but with 3 slightly more useful palico, each minding their own business, healing/attacking/dodging themselves.ģ. Don't really need social skills for multiplayer in this game, since you can just invite random people from this forum by posting session ID, or use in-game SOS signal to start multiplayer matchmaking. Grind 5 monsters for their gears is a good progress, but grinding 50 same monster for a jewel only gives you like 2% dps boost, and is mostly situational.Ģ. The amount of grind you did in MHW will not scale proportionately to the benefits you get in return. ![]() Please feel free to tell me how you guys feel about the game and your experiences, I'd love to hear it.ġ. ![]() Still, this game was very fun and I would recommend it to anyone interested in playing it. I might keep playing but seeing as I have to start studying again, it's possible that I might end up quitting altogether. I'd love to play with other people and ask for their help, but im not that social and all my IRL friends are religiously FPS-only players and FPS pros. Sometimes I go to my PC with the intent to play MHW, then I just stare at my monitor knowing that I wont get anywhere even if I grind for 6 hours. I've been thinking to stop playing and go back to FPS games, but lately I have been having dreams of playing mhw and I really dont want to quit. Although currently I have hit a wall, a wall where my current skill have caught up to my progress and I find it hard to keep grinding especially when you see others saying that the monster you've been stuck on is a breeze for them. I have bought the game about 3 days ago and im already 50 hours in and I love how I have a specific goal and you cant achieve it without grinding monsters or material. I briefly remember playing Monster Hunter on my psp back in the day, and after years of playing FPS games day and night, I wanted to try MHW as I wanted to play a game that is more "grindy" and actually felt rewarding to play. ![]()
